Q: Are there any stocks in the battery space related to electric cars, that you would recommend at this point. Secondly of the companies that are producing electric cars are there any that stand out as a good investment, in your opinion. Any market cap is fine. This could include an ETF. Thank you.

Q: Hi Peter,

Nokia is getting hammered this morning for missing expectations. Do you see this as an opportunity to buy in at this price point or should I steer clear until the new CEO has had more time to make impact? Do you prefer Ericsson in light of their earnings report last week, both, or neither at current prices?

Best,

Curtis

Q: Both these giants have publicly commented on hoping to turn their respective battleships in the renewable direction. Both currently pay healthy dividends (5.5% and 8.2%), and have taken a whalloping in the market. Wondering if you feel these companies have the cash and asset reserves to protect these dividends (small cuts would still be acceptable at the current rate), and hold steady on valuation, or dare I say it, grow in the long run? Looking to add to a corporate account I try to fill with sustainable/steady players paying 3.5-6.0%. Have a 20+ year time frame.

Thanks,
Mackenzie

Q: Can you explain the difference between Unilever NV (UN) and Unilever PLC (UL). Which stock would be better to purchase? Although they are based in the Netherlands and the UK respectively, if I purchase the stock in my TFSA will the dividend be subject to a withholding tax because I purchased it on a US exchange? What is your opinion of the company and if I was interested in it would you be OK jumping into a full position today or would you start with a smaller purchase?
