Q: Not sure if this is within your purview but I am looking to diversify into Intn'l and Emerging markets. I need an ETF or two with a dividend yield of 3% plus. Currently have UXM for my US exposure and am thinking of VEE for Emerging but not sure about one for Intn'l. Another option would be CYH to cover all 3 areas. Any ideas

Q: 5i Team,

In a previous question, you advised that good portfolio diversification should include 65% Cdn equities, 25% US equities, and 10% global equities. Right now I am severally underweight in global equities, with a 3.5% holding in Emerging Markets PIE-N, and that’s it. I’m looking at topping up to your recommended 10% level with other ETFs, but don’t know what to buy? I’m relatively young and willing to move up the risk curve to get higher returns, what would you suggest? I’m thinking one ETF that tracks Mexico @ 3.5% weighting, and one for Japan @ 3.5% weighting, perhaps? Or should I be looking at Europe? Or just go at a full 10% with PIE-N or some other Global ETF??? Oh the choices….

Q: My question is about HRP (HRT Participacoes em Petroleo SATSXV/AlphaV:HRP). I bought this highly spec stock 1.50 and rode it down to its present low value. I've lost 90% of my value on $10,000.

Should I give up and sell? Little downside left tho. What are your thoughts?
