Q: Hello,
I have no Utilities in my registered portfolio and I am going to add one at a full position. I am likely holding it for 5 years, and my overall investment window or horizon is long-term at 20+ years. The dividend yield on all three of these stocks is over 4% which I like. None are currently 'oversold' on the RSI chart.
Three questions:
Is AQN still a reasonable buy even with a P/E of 26x?
Do you expect H to stay range-bound with a price in the low $20's because of their future planned share issues?
If you could recommend only one, for a younger person, which one do you like? (feel free to deduct 3 credits). Thx, Rob

Q: Current price $40.57(5yr low),6.62% yield(mainly due to drop in price, partly div.growth)& high $66b debt.A rising interest rate environment, which will be further aggravated if Trump impose tariffs.New York Fed Governor W Dudley stated"raising trade barriers would risk setting off a trade war, which could damage economic growth prospects around the world".Recently filed for potential mixed shelf offering. Will be dilutive & negative if sell shares @ such low price(remember CPG which keeps on issuing shares). However it does have $10b non core assets,of which $3/4b are to be sold In 2018.Have not heard of any sale, maybe not getting the desired price. I have 1/2 position @ $49,so add, hold or sell.Txs for u usual great services & views.

Q: Are there any utility companies with low debt levels? Canadian or American.

My thoughts are that with increased adoption of electric vehicles, electricity demand will continue to grow in a substantial way. I would like to invest in an electric utility for the long term based on this expected trend. However with the potential for rising rates, a company with large debt loads may not see as much benefit from increased demand as a company with lower leverage.

Your thoughts please.

Q: The EPS of Altagas for 3/18 is shown on your "companies" chart at .38, whereas you had stated to Jason on Mar 1 re his question on ALA results that the EPS was in line at .36, wouldn't that be a miss? The EPS for ALA for the next quarter (6/18) is shown as .14, why the big drop, is the falling cdn$ and rising interest rates going to cause any problem for ALA carriage of debt?

Q: Hey 5i,
My question is about what kind of upside remains in CRH after its bounce off the bottom? Any idea of a target price and is it even possible to reach the high prices of the past?
That said AltaGas has tanked and am wondering if I am better served selling CRH and getting some ALA. do you think there is big upside there? And they are going to more utility then pipeline after the acquisition? Thanks

Q: I hold Crius primarily for income. The sharp drop today though was a big surprise...despite knowing that Seeking Alpha is behind it and they could be spreading misinformation.
While I plan to continue holding for now I would like to be reasonably confident that Crius has been and is being responsible in managing dividend payouts. That information will be pivotal in deciding whether or not to buy more.

Would you please outline the “math” to support the fact that Crius. been fiscally responsible in this regard ....or not.

Thank you for helping out here.
