Q: Hi, i have one TFSA account that represents 3.7% of my total investments. i want to change the objectif of this account for revenue. No issue on risk and a time horizon of 5 to 10 years. Q: 1. I hold Methanex shares and bought them at 90 CAD.
I like the company fundamentals and also the fact that they recently buy back their shares. As I have some capital gains up to date, I want to know if you would recommend me taking half a position and taking advantage of the tax loss and buy k back after 30 days at the current lower price or I don't do nothing and wait for the stock to go back up?
2. Is there a co-relation with lower interest and preferred shares and bank stocks not performing well ? I own ZHP and the stock has been trading sideways for some time.
Thank you

Q: With all of the wizards running to keep their pensions, a platform has been used as another campaign promise, ie to legislate something like a 25% reduction in cell phone rates.
Although they haven't been elected and will certainly will not get a majority this time around I would like you to please give us your analysis of what would happen to T and BCE in the long shot chance this becomes legislation?
Thanks
Sheldon

Q: I am a retired, conservative dividend income investor. I own CGX, primarily for income. I believe management clearly understands its investor pool, who are there for the dividend.
Why the 3.7% drop today? Do you still consider the dividend to be safe? Would you add more at these current levels?
Thanks for your help...Steve

Q: Greetings 5i
I have made a tidy profit in CCL.B over the past few years and I now realize I let it grow too large in my cash account. Recently, of course, CCL has been sliding down. My holding in it now amounts to 5.2% of my total Canadian cash account. Conversely, I have SLF that has being doing well but now stands at 7.4% which I realize is too high.
What weighting should I aim for with both SLF and CCL in a cash account that I am working on getting into proper focus and balance?
Two questions.Please deduct appropriate credits.
Thanks
Peter

Q: Hi Team , a couple of questions on EIC. Could you please give the latest short positions?
The company recently held an investor day in Garland Texas, to showcase their new window plant. Some sell side investors have reset their target price @ 55 bucks with consensus @ 46 dollars. That's a 15% upside. Do you think this will happen? Not sure if any time frame has been mentioned. Thanks Guys!
