Q: I own all three of these Brookfield companies BAM.A, BIP, and BEP at 1.23%, 0.86% and 1.08% weightings respectively (total 3.18%). I am a long term growth investor. From previous questions, I think it's okay to own all three correct and there is not much overlap. If I were to maintain a 4-5% weighting total in these companies, how would you weight each for maximum capital appreciation? Thanks!

Q: Looking through their report today, their share count is up by about 800,000 units (5% or so) this year, compared to last year. am I missing something? I thought the recent offering they did was of shares already owned by the parent? bit of a goofy question but the DCPU would've been positive for the quarter if the share count was closer, no?

Q: Good Evening,

I bought Cameco stocks over 5 years ago. At the time, I thought it was a good 'bet' because historically Cameco had reached a high of around $60 per share. I bought in at $22. Despite the passage of time, this stock has stayed around the $10-$12 range. I will admit, this stock was an impulse buy. It was one of those stories where I heard a friend say something and I went ahead and purchased it without doing the proper research. I have elected to hold it because I figure I'm still getting the dividends and I will only lose money if I sell. I am wondering what 5i thinks about holding this stock. Do I hold, or cut my losses and reinvest this money into something else?

If shares are only offered to the public, I suppose that includes institutional investors? Also, I'd be interested to know how the market works in this situation. ie, if supply of shares exceeds demand, will the price keep dropping until they're all sold? It is about 4.6% of their market cap.
I would like to purchase shares and would appreciate guidance on when you would suggest this could be done.
Many thanks.
