Q: Hi, I have tripled my money in WSP and was now thinking of selling it and buying BIP.UN to bump up the dividend bit. I already own BEP.UN and have no plans to sell it. Your thoughts please.
Happy Holidays.

Q: When can we expect to see BIPC listed?
Q: The share price of BIP.UN has dropped 7.30% in the last month. I know this stock has been up 45% this year, but is there any reason for this end of year tailspin other than some investors' profit taking to use up the tax losses sold?
Year end trade patterns are always tough to rationalize.

Q: Want to pass along info from BIP investors relations regarding Unit Split and creation of an Exchange Corporation (BIPC) on how it affects the Brookfield Infrastructure Partners Exchange LP units holder:
1. LP units are exchangeable to BIP.UN 1:1 for 7 years,
2. The exchange is deemed disposition, i.e. taxable, last day to exchange for 2019 tax year is 12/27,
3. LP unit holder will NOT get BIPC shares upon split, only BIP.UN holders get BIPC shares,
4. LP units holder will get equivalent value of additional LP units instead.
Happy Holidays and all the best in 2020 !!

Q: Hello
What are your insight on the news regarding Rogers Control Trust Acquires an Additional 5.7 Million Class A Voting Shares of Rogers Communications Inc.
Do you see this as a good news for the stock making the price rebound back to the upside?
Thank you

Q: A question about the casino company Game Host. My father's sold his Cineplex position and his looking for another stock with (1) a high yield (2) a monthly dividend. His bonds are not paying enough. With oil back over 60$, do you think that Game Host properties should see better traffic soon? We don't hope for capital appreciation, but want a balance sheet that has more chance to improve than weaken. Thank you!
Q: Can you provide your 4 top Canadian dividend stock picks for the new year? Will be adding to my TFSA.

Q: Hi everyone. Could you please update the short positions on EIF. I believe today was the second highest stock price for the company in it's history.

Q: I have a balanced and diversified portfolio.
In reviewing my holdings, these two stocks are at the low end of my portfolio %. I have money to invest, so my options could include rolling one into the other to increase my holding %. , or adding $ to one or the other.
I see ALA has restructured and their outlook looks positive whereas ITP is OK for income but not growth. Your thoughts and recommendations?

Q: Looking at using some cash in our RIF accounts (mostly a mix of Income/balanced portfolios) to boost the yield a bit and am considering AW.un or NFI. With price pullbacks, both currently have a higher than average dividend (sustainable ?) and, it appears, some cushion against any significant capital loss, (barring any new bad news). Do you think these are now good candidates for an income portfolio ? Alternative suggestions?
Q: I was listening to some comments on VET on BNN Fri. What was mentioned was instability in the European gas market. I believe something about Russia messing around with the market and therefore putting on question on Vet's gas business in Europe. Do you have any insight into this?
TIA

Q: Hi,
Having sold DRG.UN & CGX, I'm sitting on some cash.
Could you give me your top 5 relatively safe, relatively high dividend/distribution paying choices to replace these?
Sector is not important. Getting a benefit from companies whose price is depressed due to tax loss selling is a bonus but not critical.
Thanks,
Gord

Q: This question is about non-registered accounts and the non-Canadian ETFs and stocks that pay dividends. If the DRIP is activated, does the stock still attract witholding tax, or would it be taxed separately on both the dividend and the capital gain?
I've learned a great deal from you about investing.
Many thanks.

Q: Good afternoon folks
With a better China/US trade agreement which of these would you expect to do better from here? I own a bit of DOL but have watched DLRT for awhile now.
Thank you for a good year and all you do for us! You have "steered my ship" for over 5 years now! Happily I am up 60%. All by shaving at highs and buying at lows(mostly but of course not always). I only added just under 2% of new money.
Thank YOU and MERRY CHRISTMAS

Q: Why has ARE performed so poorly in comparison the others? Results have generally been positive. Should I stick it out or move on?
