Q: Good afternoon,
Any views as to what is going on with CPX today? I have been a long term holder, and would love to know your view on the company in the current context - sell, hold, or accumulate?
Thanks as always

Q: I see that todays news of a huge contract to supply Microsoft has given some life to the share price. But the share price is still quite low compared to a year or two ago. I am having trouble judging how much value the contract adds I would think a contract of this size will quickly give a much stronger boost to the stock, even though some of the contract is a few years away.. How much value does it add, in your opinion? Is the share price too low now? i already have a full position, but I'm thinking of adding more
Q: What did you think of their earnings? I finally bought a starter position on the recent dip. Would you be ok adding here?
Thanks
Thanks

Q: Seen most of my Telecoms including Telus and Rogers depreciating in value, is this a lack of confidence in these investments?
Do you believe the dividend rates will might be cut?
Long term, do you feel a recovery is in sight?
Thanks in advance for your great service! Ted

Q: Good Morning,
Do you know where I can find a list of Canadian companies that have not cut their dividends based on consecutive years? I’m already aware of the Canadian dividend all-star list (Cdn dividend growers). What I want is to expand my list of Canadian dividend companies to consider. Thank you.

Q: With oil and gas being so cyclical, how would one decide when to sell? Any specific indicators associated traditionally with the up or down in that sector?
I have SU and TOU right now. How do you think they will do in the next 6 and 12 months and 3 years, and why?

Q: I did increase lately the % of utilities ( stocks+ETF) in my portfolios ( up to 38%) , since 1) the entry price seems ok ,2) utilities should maintain long term dividends for revenue ,3) they should resist more than other sectors in case of bear or volatile markets,4) still have some capital appréciation potential. What is your point of vue ? many thanks..
Q: If you could only buy either SU or TOU which one would you buy?
Thanks
Thanks
Q: Could you list any possible positive events that could prove good for Aqn. If possible, the chances they might materialize in 2024.

Q: I am looking for quality "dividend growth" focused ETF (not "high dividend" ETF) in CDA and US , with an optimal balance of sectors ( some of those ETF showing, in my vue,a disproportion of sectors, like an excess of financials (ex. 40-50%) etc..). Could you suggest your 2-3 choices in CDA and US ?
Q: Hello 5i team,
I currently hold Telus and was thinking of switching to BCE since the dividend is larger. It seems telcos are not doing well over the past few years and was wondering what you think may be the cause of this? Also I was thinking that BCE is at a 10 year low and may be hitting a bottom, so there would be a better chance at appreciation as well as the dividend.
This is also to simply having a telco in my portfolio for exposure and it looks like BCE has a better chance of improving than Telus (TIXT is probably dragging it down).
Thank You,
Andrew

Q: Can you give me an opinion on Tier One Capital Limited Partnership.
I note the dividend is very high and the market cap very small Would you consider it for an investment to produce a solid ongoing dividend?
Thanks

Q: Hi 5i,
I am slowly converting my TSFA to income. A model holding for me is BNS-T (Bank of Nova Scotia). A +6% dividend and good growth potential. Thank you 5i for the recommendation. Can you. recommend, "as of the prices today" 3-4 more companies that you would add. I do have access to your income portfolio of course, but I am seeking good entry positions for your current "fav's". Thank you.
