Q: Hi 5i,
My BEP holding is up 70% and represents 5.2% of my portfolio. I see you are recommending trimming in your model portfolio. I was considering a trim sometime this year but I was thinking it would make sense to wait for the "free" new company shares that are being allocated later this year (1 for every 4 shares). Does this thinking make sense?

- Enbridge Inc. (ENB)
- Inter Pipeline Ltd. (IPL)
- AltaGas Ltd. (ALA)
- Algonquin Power & Utilities Corp. (AQN)
- Northland Power Inc. (NPI)
- Polaris Renewable Energy Inc. (PIF)
- Atlantica Sustainable Infrastructure plc (AY)
Q: These companies represent 17% of my portfolio, with ENB and NPI positions being 3.5% each and the remaining approx 2 % each. Recently stock prices of several of these have increased 10 % or so.
Should I adjust any of these positions?
Without really knowing the remainder of my account, what percent in utilties would be suitable for a ten year horizon?

Q: I would like to have a good REIT stock. Would you recommend buying BPY? Or do you prefer other REIT stocks?
I read the company did some buy backs last quarter. Do you see the stock bouncing back in 2020?
Thank you

Q: Q: Hello Gentlemen,
I hold 5.8% of TRP and 4.2% of ENB in my portfolios. Long term TRP has underperformed both PPL and ENB. I consider selling half of TRP (in RIFF) and use the proceeds to take a position in PPL.
Your opinion please.
Thank you,
Werner

Q: Hi 5i Team:
Good day!
I am owning the above 4 stocks with a total less than 4.5%. The largest one is ENB. Instead of putting my cash (more than 10% of my portfolio) I wonder if I should buy more of some of these 4 stocks to earn dividend. I realize the stock may go up/down. My current holdings are well diversified, and having a good gain. I don't want to add more, or until I sell any of the current ones.
Your opinions and recommendations please.
There are more than one stock in my question, please take as many points as you need to.
Thank you.
Louisa

Q: Hello: Back in 2015, I purchased a number of shares in IPL for approximately $25.00. Now they seem to be sitting at about $22.00 and there has been no significant changes for some time. Although the dividend is ok, I realize it has to be based on my purchase price, so isn't really 7+ %. I had hoped the price would increase with the recent pipline news, but it didn't. Back in 2015, these shares were considered a strong buy. How would you rate them Now?

Q: Is this a good time to add position to ALA:T based on its cleaning up its balance sheet? I run very concentrated portfolio. its 5% of my portfolio and down by 35%.
Q: I had thought there would be a flurry of questions based upon today's announcement, but here goes. I wonder about your reaction and whether you would wait for the interest to die down a bit or would you buy now?
Thanks.
Thanks.
