Q: Could you give an update on IVQ. Is the nice dividend safe and how would it hold up in a recession.
Q: Why has this stock tumbled ? Seemed like a solid dividend play.
Q: OVV (Encana): just looked at fundamentals supplied by CIBC Investors Edge - everything looks very good, if the data is correct? Please provide comments on this stock for me as a potential BUY or not? What are the true facts? Here is what CIBC had: ROE=15.47, TTM PE = 1.75x, B.V. = $28.00, D/E = 83% (high) & PR = 7.17%.
Q: Been keeping an eye on the travel stocks as they get pummeled by coronavirus concerns. CCL yield becoming very attractive--do you think there is a risk of them cutting the dividend as they battle through the inevitable sales decline over the next 12-24 (?) months

Q: Inter Pipeline has a current dividend of 8.9 %. According to TD Waterhouse today, the the 2020 estimated payout ratios are 81 % of AFFO and 197 % of EPS. The net debt to EBITDA ratio is 6.3 %. These numbers are high compared to other similar companies. Would it make sense to sell this stock and purchase ENB or PPL instead ? Thanks, Joe
Q: What is your assessment of PIF quarterly results that were issued today?
Q: Some comments on Genesis please. They've suffered from a hate for anything related to oil, a well deserved market downturn, and coronavirus. On the other hand they have a substantial distribution, part of which is withheld by the IRA. Is this a sleeping dog best left alone?

Q: I have a question, are there any socially responsible companies paying a dividend listed on the TSX that are good candidates to own in a portfolio?
Q: Bought at $10.75 a few months ago. About $7.50 today. Should I just sell and take the loss in my TFSA? Thanks for your reply.
Q: Do you think that dividend is safe here? If they cut it in half, would this still be worth holding for a few years in registered acct?
Thanks.
Thanks.
Q: I'm a little low in both of these sectors and was wondering which of these two companies you would currently invest in.

Q: Hi
How safe is the dividend? Is there growth potential for them. Are there any other companies with as good or better prospects?
Thank you

Q: I'm looking for some help in understanding the Sandbox transaction Alaris Royalty just reported.
Given that they didn't receive full value on the preferreds, doesn't that mean the common for Sandbox was worthless? Do you have any information on the other details of the transaction.
I've scanned the last three quarterly reports, I see quite a few top up investments, both additional Preferreds and debt. I didn't see any red flags in comments until Q3 where the investment was written down by $4 million and the rating was lowered. Certainly nothing indicated the common equity of Sandbox was worthless. It looks to me like they were blindsided.
What am I missing? Should I be concerned about a possible re-evaluation and writedowns of Alaris Royalty's other investments?
Thanks as always.
Peter
