Q: Hi 5i,

I'm quite surprised at the premium of BIPC vs the LP. I am tempted to sell all my BIPC and buy the LP units to get more units and the higher dividend yield. If I don't make the trade, do you think the premium would persist? Or, is there something the company could/would do to remove the premium (e.g. issue more shares of BIPC only or make the units exchangeable both ways). Is that a risk of losing the premium then?

Q: I hold OGI (-67%), SPB (-18%), TCL.A (-20%), and RCI.B (-10%) all at the losses indicated. Which would you buy more of, hold, or sell? Would you switch RCI.B for more BCE or T, both of which I already hold? I'm looking for capital gains with a dividend, when possible. Thanks for your insight.

Q: Hi,
MAL just announced a share repurchase program. Given the present environment, especially the end customers for most of their products are airlines, is this wise move? Do they have the balance sheet strength for this?
I know the share price has taken a beating this year but seems odd timing for this.
What would be your current rating for the stock (Sell, Hold, Buy)?

Q: Hi,
TC Energy has already been hurt by Joe Biden’s promise to close Keystone XL. Unfortunately, we have held the stock For 20 years in a DRIP and I fear that the share price is at its greatest peril.
This was such an enormous cost for the company, I think survival becomes an issue , but certainly loss of value for years to come. What is your advice ?

Q: I currently own AD and I'm down about 50%. Would you recommend selling AD and switch to BPY.UN?

If BPY.UN keeps its dividend rate, my total dividend yield would improve slightly. So I have a slight advantage on yield (if BPY.UN does not cut it yield).

Yet BPY.UN has more potential to bounce back up from the $12 level than AD from the $9+ level. The growth part is seemingly more in favour of BPY.UN. Would you recommend such a switch? Your opinion is much appreciated. Thanks.

Q: Morning Team. Question relating to VIG (NY) vs VGG (TSE). From my review of both funds, it appears that the holdings are the same or very very close in both. So the question then comes down to currency. Assuming that the $CDN stays weaker as compared to the USD for the forseable future, what are your thoughts on either VIG or VGG as a core holding for the US market. Or perhaps both might be recommended to cover off currency. Many thx. Steve

Q: Retired, dividend income investor. I have (or had) a full position in TRP up until the Biden announcement. Would you consider adding now to top up the position or would you wait or would you just leave it as is? I like TRP now, but I'd really like it if it hit the $54-55 level. Asset allocation is not an issue.

A secondary question...with the current approvals in place, wouldn't there be a massive lawsuit if the rug got pulled out of the project if Biden followed through with his threat?

Q: Hey 5i,
Despite the downturn and possibly another.
Dividends have been cut and some more are possible. Oil potentially being the longer rebound.
Is their a recommended best "overall" US Dividend ETF.
Overall taking into account Yield. Growth. MER. Somewhat balanced exposure and or limited oil holdings.

Q: When calculating a company's dividend payout ratio, I have seen some analysts use earnings while others use free cash flow. What is the difference between the two metrics, and which one gives a better picture of a company's ability to fund its dividend.
