Q: Further to Arnold’s question of March 9th. Enbridge’s stock is holding in quite well? Is this likely a result that investors believe there is a significant likelihood a positive resolution or compromise will be reached regarding Line 5? What is your best guess? Thanks.

Innergex Renewable Energy Inc. (INE $13.74)
Q: The majority of our utility holdings are in FTS /AQN, and when looking at value metrics: EV/Rev, p/b, forward p/e and yield, these 2 stocks appear to rank highest of the stocks listed above. NPI seems to be 3rd best in value, but it does have a higher p/b ratio. We also hold the following utilities in decreasing weight: BEP.UN, NPI and INE. We need to trim SU/ENB and want to add more to some or all of the latter 3 utilities - would you add the most to BEP.UN then NPI or focus on just BEP.UN? INE appears to be a bit over-valued at this time. Should we continue to hold INE, sell or add on more significant dip? We income/growth investors with 10+ year time horizon.
Thanks!!
Thanks!!

Q: GIC coming due shortly, do not want to reinvest the money at a .75% rate. I’m considering buying a fairly safe dividend paying stock or 2. They could have a some growth as well as they would be in my TFSA. Have been considering TFII. What do you think of it and could you suggest a couple of other options for me to look into..
Thanks for your thoughts and suggestions.
John

Q: I am growing concerned about Line 5 as the Michigan governor is trying to close it down. I realize there are several strategies in play to keep it open, but given how big line 5 is to enbridge, to michigan, to ontario and quebec, I can't help but wonder what will happen to the stock and future growth if it is closed down Your opinion please?
Q: Good Morning;
For telecom exposure, which would you recommend today and why? I am a 58 year old investor trying to move my portfolio more toward income generation, but already have a position in AT&T.

Q: I am currently down 21% in BEP.un. as is my partner both of which are in our TFSA accounts. At the age of 72 and early 80's should we be selling of would you expect a fairly quick rebound?
Q: If we do not want to accept the current Brookfield offer of $16.50 for IPL what happens now that we have received the offer from Brookfield. Will IPL be sending us a voting right to accept or decline this Brookfield offer soon?
Q: The earning for the year look decent. Too bad they give little public guidance but my understanding is that business has picked up and they project double digit growth over the next few years. Based on that scanty information do you think the stock is undervalued? I like the 3.70% divy while I wait for the company to be discovered.

Q: Hi 5i team,
My question is on the future of natural gas as a heating source in Ontario, for example. I will not try to make this overly political and just provide facts based on carbon tax rates from Enbridge's site: https://www.enbridgegas.com/Natural-Gas-and-the-Environment/Enbridge-A-Green-Future/Federal-Carbon-Pricing-Program
As of April 1st Ontarians will pay 7.83 cents / cubic metre in Carbon ta . With current Gas Supply Charge (GSC) at 10.356 / cubic metre this works out to a ct of 75.6% before hst. I a short 9 years this will increase to roughly 320% ((170 ÷ 40 * 7.83) ÷ 10.356) of the GSC.
So my question is: If people move off natural gas to heat their homes, what impact will this have on the pipelines. Do you see any other investment themes to replace natural gas? Basically get off the grid solutions, although they are really expensive today,
Thx
