Q: I was going to increase my position in TELUS. Thinking that I should take a small position in TIXT.CA. instead. Would be in a registered account for 3 to 5 years. Your thoughts,

Q: Could I have your views on the latest quarter's earnings. Tnx
Q: What do you think of their latest quarter and this company going forward.
Q: Is this a buy hold or sell at the present price?
Q: Why does FTS always out-perform CU? Bought CU because of the higher dividend years ago and have a good capital gain. Now have some new money and want ( but not need) income so would you add more to CU or start a new position in FTS? As always, thanks for the pragmatic advice. Ron

Brookfield Renewable Corporation Class A Exchangeable Subordinate Voting Shares (BEPC)
Q: The drop in price in the last couple weeks for these two stocs has been considerable. Is there something more than the Texas problem involved here? Is its present price attractive for the next few years? I sorryfully missed your praise for Magna a couple months ago by bidding somwhat lower when it was $68.
Q: The earnings were a beat and I know that there is growing US interest in the company. Your thoughts on whether it is worth a long term hold. It also pays a dividend which it increased this year.
Q: Your thoughts on their 1/4ly report and their future prospects.
Thanks

Q: Looking to increase my US div. Yield with these picks, would now be a good time to enter or wait, and would you consider better choices and please rate best to worse, thanks.
Q: Any rationale why these solid dividend growers are unloved right now? They are all well off their highs and 3 of the 4 pay very good divs. Is it 'risk on' causing these to be ignored? I am tempted to add to all of them with the expectation that at some point in the next 2-3 years we will hit a 'risk off' market and these will recovery nicely
Q: The question is what ETF is the best match for me based on
1. my normal stock selection is large blue chip dividend paying companies
2. this ETF is in my RRSP, I am assuming it should be purchased in American funds. (unless you say otherwise.) US or Canadian ?
3. I am thinking a broad based ETF, possibly a "dividend aristocrat" or just whole market but not sure of what the difference would be.
thanks
Ernie

Boralex Inc. Class A Shares (BLX)
Q: Peter; It seems to me that there is a general selling of the renewable area, AQN,CPX,BLX etc, . Just profit taking after the huge run up or a back to the past oil switch to the energy sector? Thanks,

Q: Straight up, which of these two investments would you prefer, would there be too much correlation or would they compliment each other, thanks?
Q: CPG reported year end today. Their future with the latest acquisition of the Shell assets looks very bright. Canadian oil stocks have been severely undervalued, but as a Canadian investor trying to support our workers and in turn the Canadian Economy and Canada's social security benefits we are starting to reap the huge benefits. Please provide your expert opinion on CPG's year end.
Thank you Gord

Q: Telus has fallen off by 6-8%. Anything changed in its outlook? Would you be adding to your position here of moving to greener pasteurs?
Q: Retired, dividend-income investor who trims and adds around mostly full 4-5% positions. I own AQN, FTS. With the drop, due to Texas among other factors, how much is already baked into their stock positions? I am ready to top up Fortis now that it has dropped to < $50. What does your crystal ball say? Add or wait a little longer? I know it is a timing question. I just didn't want to jump in and catch a falling knife if you thought their might be a bit more downside.
Thanks...Steve

Q: Hello 5i,
Exchange Income Corp (EIF) has grown its dividend consistently over the past 5 years. How stable is the company? What is the payout ratio?
Have you had this in the income portfolio since the portfolio's inception?

Q: I am looking for a good Canadian high dividend ETF. VDY seems to have the best performance following the FTSE Canada High Dividend Yield Index. Can you tell me a bit more about the latter index and stocks are selected. I know the CDZ, also has some set criteria for selecting stocks based on dividend payment history. Thank you in advance for your comments!
