Q: Hi 5i,
Given CRTC 's announcement to allow small wireless carriers to piggyback on Big 3 networks..
How do you view the short term affect on the group especially on BCE share price?
In your opinion would you be interested entering a position at this time ( for income and long term growth) or would you expect a short term pullback?
Position/weighting size considering existing 3% position in rogers.
Thx
Jim

Do you have any idea what kind of electricity related companies will benefit from this EV transition and what do you suggest we should prepare for it regarding investment?

Thanks

Q: I am thinking of trimming a bit from BEP(up 300% with ROC) and adding to my positions of DIR.UN and DIV. I am retired and looking to increase my monthly dividend payout companies. Currently BEP is around 4% of portfolio, DIV is 4% and DIR is 2.3%. Is this a sound move or do you think there is a better option with another monthly dividend payout company.

Q: They are all high-paying dividend stocks, but I want to know why BCE consistently has a higher dividend. Is it because the market is reflecting that BCE doesn't have good growth prospects or are people missing something. Seems like they have at least similar prospects as Rogers (while I know Telus is doing many things outside of telecom so might deserve a higher valuation and lower dividend.)

Q: I hold 2,000 shares of BPY.UN in my RRIF. Is there any indication as to the yield on the BPY Preferred units (0.7268 per BPY.UN unit) will be? I need a high cash flow to meet the required annual withdrawal from the RRIF. If I sell the BPY.UN shares where can I find a similar yield for my RRIF?
Brookfield plans to start a Global Impact Fund. Are there any details available and when is expected to open?

Q: My question is regarding value metrics for CPX. I compared EV/Revenue for the above utilities and CPX is lowest at 4.66, followed by FTS at 5.96. FTS has the lowest P/B at 1.49; CPX is the next best at 2.00. As an income/value investor, is CPX a value diamond in the rough? I know it keeps missing estimates, but I would get a yield of about 5.5% while waiting for financial results to improve. Your comments very much appreciated.
Thanks!
