Q: It seems like the NAV and distribution on this are extremely well protected, if I understand it correctly.
Would any drop in the price of the underlying banks be deducted from the NAV of BR before affecting the NAV of BR.PR? (would NAV of BR have to go to zero before affecting the NAV of BK.PR?)
And in the unlikely case that several of the banks cut their divs, would some of that cut be accommodated by cuts to the distribution of BR before affecting BK.PR's distribution?
Last, if the price of BK.PR falls due to sentiment - as opposed to drop in NAV - the product can be at some point sold back to the issuer at the then current NAV?
Is there a risk I am not considering?
Thanks,

Q: Hi: I have a small amount of VWO and I just noticed there does not seem to be any dividend associated with it. Has there been a change? Thanks very much

Q: Why does bip.un offer a substantially bigger dividend yield than bam.a?
I own both and plan to add more, part of me says to increase bam.a for broader coverage however I cannot get past bip.un recent performance and better dividend.

Q: Hi, This week's sharp decline in Pipeline ( ENB/TRP and Others) and Utility (FTS etc ) stocks - Do you think, it is a result of market's renewed fear of continued rate hikes into 2022/2023, as suggested by FED Chair on Friday and re-iterated by other FED Presidents over course of this week including Cleveland FED President, Mester, Today. Pipelines and Utilies sector has performed well this year, but may be, due to its higher yield, is causing some worry to investors. Your comments, co relation of high rates and other factors, impacting these sectors will be much appreciated. Would it be prudent to underweight the sectors, in near term. Thank You

Q: Hi 5i,
Following Eric Nuttall's appearance on Market Call on March 4th this year, I invested roughly equal amounts in the above six oil and gas companies on March 7th. (Coincidentally, another 5i member posted questions about the exact same six companies that day.). As of yesterday's close, the results have been a mixed bag, ranging from TOU up 52% to TVE down 25%. Overall, though, up about 6% (not counting dividends).
My investing style is generally to buy and hold quality companies for the long-term, while this oil and gas play was intended to be a bit more of speculative. What is your current opinion of these six companies? Would it be wise to sell any now?

Q: When you recommend good dividend paying stocks should we assume that these stocks regularly (i.e. annually) increase their dividends unless otherwise noted?
Appreciate your insight.

Q: Hi, What's your opinion on TC Energy, for income and some growth, and with a bias to indirectly benefit from Oil and Natural Gas prices ? TRC recently acquired an interest in a Mexican pipeline and stock had an overhang due to a large equity issue, which seems to be slowly dissipating now. Stock has nice dividend yield of over 5.5% and analysts generally appear to be positive, on the stock, specially after the new acquisition. How is the current valuation and do you believe that debt is manageable? Is it a decent buy at current level - $65 - $65.50 ? Thanks
Q: Can I get your view on Superior Plus. Is it worth hanging on too?
