Q: Hello 5i,
In a previous answer you indicated that DE could be purchased in a range somewhat below $6.30 per share as I recall. I initiated a position slightly under that and now need to add my next tranche. Since that time, however, they have raised their dividend and the share price is now around $7.30. The short term chart is fairly strong. The question is: what would now be an attractive entry point for my second tranche? Should I try and wait for a pull-back of some sort or just bite the bullet and proceed?
Thanks!!
Cheers,
Mike

Q: Hi All,
I have recently bought TRP and it has been falling ever since. I don't know whether I should continue to hold on to it and hope that this downward trend will reverse itself or sell and move on to something with more momentum?
Will the completion of the Keystone Pipeline inspire some upward movement in the stock? Also is the dividend safe?
Thanks for your valued opinion.

Q: TD advises that "growth at LEG (Leggatt & Platt) is below the industry average, and worse, is declining. The most recent EPS was $2.00, a decrease of -32.4% YOY.

Should I be kicking this one out of US portion of portfolio? If so, why?

Looking for steady income in US dollars.

If I'm kicking out LEG, what else might you suggest?

Thanks.

Q: hello 5i:
I'm looking for ideas for a covered call health care etf in US dollars. LIFE.B seems to be a little to thinly traded, so something other than this? If choices are very limited, would a general etf like SCHD or DIVO be the next best option?
thanks

Q: Just reading about the takeover of RNW by TA. Not really interested in TA as I need income and the reduction in yield will go from 8.55 down to 1.88% with only 1.03 shares of TA for every share of RNW. My question is if RNW happens to trade above the $13 mark, will it be better to just sell all of those shares if this happens?

Thanks

Q: I have been out of the loop for a while (due to a few health concerns) and have found these two stocks, Fiera and Algonquin, fallen since I last checked in on them.

Is Fiera, then, a SELL? I see that it is diminished in the portfolio, but still hanging in there. If this company is no longer a good proposition, could you suggest a replacement for a steady income/dividend, as that is a priority now in my stage of investing.

And same applies to Algonquin. Is that a good proposition to hold, or can it be replaced now with something with more vitality?

Thanks for your help, as always.

Please deduct points accordingly, as this is a "two-fer". : )

Q: Hi Team,
Last month company issued equity at US$30.35 to acquired the renewal assets of Duke Energy. At the moment the units are trading below offer price. Do you see any upside in near future in its unit price if someone buys it now?

Is it a better choice over TCL.A or Alta Gas considering the growth and dividend increases in future? TCL.A and Alta Gas are different companies but both are dead for the past some years.

Your Views please.
Thanks

Q: Hi Folks,

Retired income investor.
I recently disposed of FSZ and am now thinking I should do the same with RNW and NWH. All down considerably since acquired!
Do you think it is best to eliminate these two or hold?
Also please suggest your safest alternatives with reasonably good yields.

Thanks very much.
