Q: Looking to take a position in either IMO or CNQ. Capital appreciation is more important than dividend income. Which would you prefer and why. Thank you.

CNQ is cheaper, has a higher dividend, and a higher expected growth rate. We would side with it. Note that IMO's integrated operations and parental back up likely make it a bit safer, however.
