Q: Hello. Gold and gold stocks have had a nice run. Do you think this move still has legs? If so, would CGL and XGD be good investments or are there others which you prefer?

Thank you.

5i Research Answer:

We do; investor angst, weak currencies, and lower interest rates should continue to be positive for the gold sector. CGL is bullion exposure and XGD is gold stock exposure and we think the combination would be solid for investor exposure. PHYS we like a bit better for bullion exposure, and it has also outperformed CGL.
