Q: Thank you for your recent counsel on Trump tariff vulnerable stocks in my portfolio { Sold TFII for $186.50 before the earnings disaster . Bought it for $43 } Woo Hoo ! 5i rocks ! ....

I'd like a little clarification if possible .... In a question this morning on WSP and tariffs, 5i's response was " could be vulnerable to buy American " . When I asked the same question the response was " should be okay " .... Could you clarify ? As I really believe Trump is going to do what he said ..... If it's vulnerable it will be sold ....... Thanks for your terrific service ......

Sorry for the confusion. WSP is not likely to be 'directly' impacted by tariffs as it does not really import goods cross-border. But it may be indirectly impacted in two ways. First, materials for all of its projects will most likely increase. It may be able to pass these on to customers in some cases, but in others maybe not. Two, the US may see a 'buy american' movement if the trade war gets ugly. WSP is a Canadian company and government contracts in particular could be harder to win if it is seen as a Maple Leaf company in the middle of a trade war.
