Q: I have this company in my long term RRSP account thanks to 5i. I was wondering your thoughts on journaling this over to the USD side in my rrsp account and what benefits/downside could come from this for exchange or currency exposure? The div is paid in USD and my drip is turned on the idea would be if new shares were not bought that USD cash would slowly grow in the account.

5i Research Answer:

Inter-listed stocks generally see the same prices on both markets (currency adjusted), because arbitrage will occur if prices differ widely. But TFII does pay dividends in US dollars and moving to a US listing will at least save on brokerage f/x conversion fees.
