Both ETFs are very similar in terms of exposure, asset allocations, assets under management (AUM), etc.
Even fees (0.24% for VEQT and 0.2% for XEQT) and historical returns (both provided a 12% return on average in the last five years) are on par. We don’t think one will outperform the other drastically over the next five years and we would be comfortable holding both. That being said, if we HAVE TO choose one, we may go for VEQT as it has a higher exposure to North American equities (76%), while XEQT has around (67%).
