Q: Is Descartes stock getting expensive or the valuation is reasonable, considering their growth prospects and US policy towards tariff / possible trade wars?

We have been wanting to own this co. for past few years, but stock keeps moving higher. Would you be comfortable starting a new position now, or wait for a pullback ?
Also can you suggest an entry level, please.

Thank You

5i Research Answer:

Historical P/E range over the past year has been 55 to 90. Current 65X is slightly to the low end of valuation history. It does get a premium for its balance sheet, growth, and exceptionally reliable execution. Logistics might be impacted by tariffs, if overall traffic slows. We would be comfortable starting with a half position in the $166/67 range.
