Q: Is TRI worth getting into at today's prices after the recent jump? How favourably does it compare to some of your other favorite growth stocks? Incremental buy-in and slow accumulation today, or a larger position?
Asked by Marcel on February 10, 2025
5i Research Answer:

TRI may not have the same rate of growth as some other companies, especially in the tech sector, but we view it as very reliable growth. It has proven itself over decades to be a very competent buyer and seller of assets. Its ongoing businesses remain robust and it may do acquisitions to further boost its growth profile. We would consider it a 'sleep at night' type of stock. It has had a good start to 2025. We think for new buyers a half position and then incremental buying after that likely makes the most sense.
