We consider VIU one of our preferred ETFs for international exposure. Many international ETFs are heavy on US stocks, but VIU is specifically ex-North America so it can be a good single solution for Canadian buyers. Fees are OK at 0.22%, it is up 16.52% in the past year and we are very comfortable with its securities positions. Japan is the biggest exposure right now at 24%, followed by the UK at 13%.
