Q: What is your view of this fund for exposure to US Large cap Growth names, with an investor comfortable with higher risk, over long term ? Mark Schmehl appears to have done a decent job with the funds he manages with Fidelity for 30 years.

Thank You

5i Research Answer:

The fund is volatile (down 30% in 2022) and we have to mention the high fees (2.23%) but we can't argue much with the 26% 5-year annualized return nor the 22.4% since-inception return (these are after fees so actual stock performance has been even better). It has attracted $16B in assets. It owns pretty much household name securities but it has done an excellent job in actively managing positions. As far as mutual funds go, we would consider it very good.
