- iShares Core S&P 500 Index ETF (CAD-Hedged) (XSP)
- iShares U.S. Small Cap Index ETF (CAD-Hedged) (XSU)
- Vanguard U.S. Total Market Index ETF (CAD-hedged) (VUS)
Q: I know there is overlap with these 2 ETFs
Would it still make sense to own both, or is there another more complimentary Canadian Hedged US ETF to hold with either of those ETFs?
Thank you

5i Research Answer:
We don't think owning both is much of an issue. There is overlap, but VUS aso gives exposure to numerous smaller names as well. If wanting a bit of a cleaner split between the two, a combination of XSP (Large-Cap) and XSU (Small-Cap) might make sense to eliminate most of the overlap.
