Q: Good afternoon,

What is your view of ABX after all the problems in Mali and the temporary closure of one of its best mines. Is it a buy at these prices?

The initial dispute started in October, and the stock is down 20% since then. Recent events have not seen much more movement. The mine is ABX's second biggest and a very big contributor to the government. Other miners have had disputes in the country and have settled, and we would expect a resolution here at some point and at some price. We would see it more as a buy, but certainly the short term risk has increased.
