With interest in AI, and AI right in the company's name, market cap is now $320M, despite minimal revenue, losses and negative cash flow (-$29.8M in the most recent 12 months). It does have $20M cash just raised. Genius is going into commercial phase now, and if we see revenue growth we will at least get some confirmation of the robustness of the technology. It is working on reliable real time AI decision making. The rest of the update was not overly significant a largely a summary of prior news. Without third party confirmation through sales, it is hard for us to get a handle on the valuation here. Partnerships and 'breakthroughs' in technology are fine, but without sales we have no way of really determining if the technology is actually good enough for customers to put money on. Still, there are few sizeable AI plays in Canada, and it has been adopted as one. Insiders own 36% prior to the recent issue. We would consider it a HOLD for investors who really want some Canadian AI exposure, but we do not want to discount the risks here.
