- Vanguard S&P 500 Index ETF (VFV)
- Vanguard S&P 500 ETF (VOO)

Thanks!
They are essentially the same since they all follow the same index. There are differences in size, fees and hedging, and some trade in Canada and many in the US. ETFs that hold stocks directly (as opposed to other funds) can give investors a small advantage in regards to withholding taxes. In Canada, VFV returned 35.33% over one year, ZSP 35.31%. In the US, SPY 25.80% (not currency adjusted) and VOO 25.94%, IVV 25.95%
