Q: I am considering ETF’s VFV & VSP.
Could you give me your assessment of these two ETF’s.
Would you prefer U.S. or CDN hedge versions? Would there be any tax considerations for either of them?
Would there be other ETF’s that you prefer other than VFV and VSP?

FX hedged or unhedged is a matter of personal preference. We tend to prefer unhedged, to add currency diversification. We like the Vanguard offerings and would not have issue with these two for broad market exposure. They are large, with a long history and low fees.
