Q: Good evening,
My understanding was that the annual distribution for AW.CA was to remain the same as AW.UN (based on a previous 5I answer). I note that AW.CA has now been set at $1.50 per annum versus $1.92 for AW.UN. This is a significant difference! What am I missing here? Please clarify.
Thanks very much.

5i Research Answer:
AW.UN paid distributions monthly (16c) and AW is paying quarterly. AW.UN paid an October 21 dividend, and the new AW dividend is payable December 27. So the new AW dividend is for only a two-month period as opposed to three months. AW confirmed in its Sept 3 press release that the dividend is to be maintained at the prior rate, and on a three-month rolling basis this is indeed the case.
