We cannot direct answers personally, and it is very tough to compare single companies to a diversified ETF. But we do like US mid cap stocks right now, and do think US stocks are going to outperform Canada. We would be OK with this switch if an investor wanted more diversification and US mid cap exposure, as well as a useful tax loss.
