- Purpose Bitcoin ETF (BTCC.B)
- Fidelity Advantage Bitcoin ETF (FBTC)
- iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF (IBIT)
- Fidelity Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund Beneficial Interest (FBTC)
Other than losing money are there any other risks to look out for?
Currently, there are several Canadian and US Bitcoin ETFs available to investors, however, there are no ETFs or stock proxies for Dogecoin.
For Canadian Bitcoin ETFs, we like FBTC and BTCC.B, and for US ETFs we like IBIT and FBTC.
Both can be purchased through a crypto exchange, however, much due diligence and caution is warranted, but we think Kraken and Coinbase have strong management teams and operations.
The risks with an ETF are mostly from the accuracy of the ETFs being 100% backed by the underlying asset, as well as potential for hacks, lost keys, etc. With crypto exchanges, the main risk is fraud of the exchange (FTX), hacks, and losing one's keys, etc.
