Q: Hello,
I'm looking for a way to park some money for one-year to pay down part of my mortgage after that. What are some low risk options to maintain liquidity if I need to use the funds for some emergency?
Thanks for your help!

We would be comfortable with a short term (180 day) GIC, and this is likely to see the highest rate. Alternatively, bank money market funds are very safe and highly liquid. There are also 'cash' ETFs such as PSA, CASH and HISA that we would be very comfortable with.
