- Global X Uranium Index ETF (HURA)
- Global X Uranium ETF (URA)
- Sprott Uranium Miners ETF (URNM)
- VanEck Uranium Nuclear Energy ETF (NLR)
Can you rank the top three and provide some commentary on each? Seems like NLR is winning the year to date performance race.
Thank you.
Here is a general list. NUKZ is a new fund but is already up 29% in the past three months. URAN is too new and tiny to endorse right now. There is a difference between uranium funds and uranium stock funds. NLR has a 17% five-year return, is large and liquid and fees are OK. There is not huge differences between what the funds hold. URNM is much larger than NLR but fees are a bit higher and performance lower. URA is nearly $4B and 5-year is even better at 28.3%. But it is highly concentrated (24%) in CCO. Overall, we think NLR looks the best with less individual company concentration.
