There was no specific news Friday, but on October 15 IMG updated its gold production guidance at its Cote Mine, indicating Q3 production was 41,000 oz. This was in advance of a analyst tour at the mine. In addition, spot gold prices hit a record high on Friday, and the sector was strong on the day in general.
