Q: In a recent answer to a members question you made reference to "free" SOBO shares - resulting from the TRP spin out. I received spin out shares previously where the parent company share price was lowered as part of the spin out. Simply put were the SOBO shares in fact "free"?

Not legally or technically or tax-wise. We were referencing the fact that some sellers would sell just because they were not familiar with the company and didn't want to follow a new company and might have treated new shares as a 'dividend'.
