Q: Is this new to the TSX ETF which trades in Canadian dollars hedged? Is it the same as the US version but just in a different currency or are there other differences? Other comments?

5i Research Answer:

J.P. Morgan has launched some of its first ETFs in Canada recently, with the launch of two active ETFs for investors. The JPMorgan US Equity Premium Income Active ETF (JEPI) and the JPMorgan Nasdaq Equity Premium Income Active ETF (JEPQ) are on the TSX as of yesterday.

The ETF is not hedged to CAD, it has the same MER as the US version, and is simply in Canadian dollars. It has less liquidity than the US version, but this will likely improve over time.
