Q: I have a 3% weighting in USD RRSP account, would their be a better bond play/recommendation than this for capital appreciation in USD?

XTS.U is a short term US bond fund. If one is expecting rates to move lower, then longer dated bonds will have more potential upside leverage. ZTM can be suggested here for a medium term bond ETF.
