- BMO Canadian Dividend ETF (ZDV)
- iShares S&P/TSX Canadian Dividend Aristocrats Index ETF (CDZ)
- Vanguard FTSE Canadian High Dividend Yield Index ETF (VDY)
Q: Interested in dividend etfs and looking at these 3
How can I find information on the general holdings of each? For example is weighting mostly financials ? utilities ? etc. Mo point in buying 2 with similar weightings!
Is there a sight that discloses holdings in each or at least general weightings.
Do you have a favorite among these 3 or another to recommend. Goal us income with some growth but primarily income 5 year horizon
Many thanks for great service

5i Research Answer:
The holdings for each can be found on their respective websites. Typically there is a geographic and sector allocation breakdown in the 'holdings allocations' or 'portfolio holdings' sections.
VDY has the largest exposure to financials, followed by ZDV, and then CDZ.
VDY has the lowest MER at 0.22%, vs. ZDV at 0.39% and CDZ at 0.66%, and VDY has also seen the best performance over a long period of time. Due to these reasons, and VDY's larger AUM, we would side with VDY, followed by ZDV, and CDZ.
