We would think ZMP is a good hold over that time horizon. ZMP owns a portfolio of provincial bonds with the whole portfolio being mid term maturities, in the 5-10 year range. With rate cuts starting in Canada, we think it will help the portfolio and for a 3-5 year hold, one could do well holding ZMP.
