Q: Hello Peter,
Why is Descartes system down on an up day? Is there some negative news i am not aware of? Is it good time to step into AlamosGold and with lower rates coming, i would have thought BEP would have recovered somewhat. .i am down about 30 percent on it.. Much appreciated for your comments

5i Research Answer:
DSG is well ahead of the TSX this year and we would not read too much into short term activity. Over two weeks the stock is up a few dollars. There was no news. AGI is now $11B market cap and gold should do well with low rates. We would be fine buying as it is emerging as one of the better new large cap names. BEP should also do better with lower rates and its big datacentre contract. With the market doing well some 'boring' names might not move so much, but for income and some growth we think it remains very attractive for conservative investors.
