5i Research Answer:

WCP is an oil and gas producer, and BEP.UN is a utility. We would not consider them equivalent. BEP.UN 'should' be more stable over time, but growth may be highly different depending on commodity prices and WCP's drilling and exploration success. We would view BEP.UN as safer, but would not expect high growth here. We like BEP.UN better overall but we would be fine owning both as they are different.
