Not investment advice or solicitation to buy/sell securities. Do your own due diligence and/or consult an advisor.

Q: Do you have any recommendations for companies, U.S. or Canadian, that demonstrate good technologies involved in energy storage and smarter distribution systems. Any market cap is fine but fundamentals should be decent. Thanks.

5i Research Answer:

Energy storage is normally a smaller but growing business for larger companies. We recommend TSLA for a large cap US name with exposure to the theme and PSI for a small cap Canadian name. Energy storage is only a small part of these businesses however. There is a very tiny ETF called IBAT which has an energy storage focus, but it only has $6M in assets so we do not recommend this option now, but it could have potential in the future.

Authors of this answer, directors, partners and/or officers of 5i Research and/or affiliated companies have a financial or other interest in TSLA.
