Q: Hi Peter, for NVEI the 34.00 US how is it calculated and when is it calculated. I have 60 shares so if I sell today I'll get what I get today at today's price but if I sell it the day it actually it goes private how much of a difference would there be. What exchange rate will be used. Thanks

The deal is all cash, in US dollars, and US$34 will be paid on closing (not expected until early 2025). If one tenders to the takeover it does not have to be sold on the market, cash will simply replace the shares in one's brokerage account. If held in a Canadian account the f/x rate on the day of closing will be used by a broker to convert the cash. Right now there is 3.3% more to be earned into closing, based on market price today.
