- Teck Resources Limited Class B Subordinate Voting Shares (TECK.B)
- Teck Resources Ltd (TECK)
- Teck Resources Limited Class A Multiple Voting Shares (TECK.A)
Q: Hi there, can you please advise on which of the Teck stocks is the right vehicle for Canadian investors? Thank you
5i Research Answer:
Class A common shares carry 100 votes per share and Class B subordinate voting shares carry 1 vote per share. TECK has a sunset clause in that in about six years the Class A shares are to be converted so there will only be one Class in the future. TECK.B shares are far more liquid and with the conversion we would consider TECK.B as the better Class to buy today.
