I was wondering if you might have any insights into the Euro€ all things considered (politically) in Europe right now? I am looking to travel in the next 45 days and will be purchasing approx. €5000 and was wondering if I should maybe wait a tad bit?

Predicting currencies is a bit of a Mug's Game, and for a 45 day period exceptionally difficult to get accurate. Recent concern over the political scene in France may not help the Euro. This might be offset by summer travel demand, especially in an Olympic year. We would probably lean towards exchanging sooner rather than later, considering also some general economic weakness in the region.
