Q: Hi All At 5i!
I have both stocks, but have held MTL longer and am 25% up. Is one stock better in its long term forecast than the other? Would it be worth while keeping both, or consolidating?
Cheers,
Tamara

5i Research Answer:
Forecasts for TFII appear more promising. Analysts expect earnings growth above 20% for TFII over the next two years, while still being double digits in 2026. MTL forecasts call for an EPS drawdown in 2024 and then growth in the 7%-10% for the next two years. MTL is more of the value play between the two and it also offers safety in it's dividend so we are OK holding because of that, however growth will be slow. We like TFII better overall.
