Engine Capital, which owns 2.5% of PKI shares, criticized PKI for the departure of Halley and Christiansen after only eight months on the board and urged for a refreshment of the board, which sparked a shift in the board by PKI. PKI is continuing to make progress with its Board renewal process. PKI recently announced Michael Jennings and James Neate to the Board. We do not consider this change in the Board to be overly material, and we do not feel that it will have a negative impact to the fundamental operations of the company.
