- Vanguard FTSE Emerging Markets All Cap Index ETF (VEE)
- CI Emerging Markets Dividend Index ETF (EMV.B)
Q: I'm thinking about adding an emerging market ETF to my portfolio, what do you think about this ETF? I like the dividend and the holdings, i suspect you might have reservations about the market cap and volume?
Is there another EM ETF that you prefer?

5i Research Answer:
At $47M, EMV.B is on the small side, but we would consider it 'decent'. Indicated yield is 3.00% and YTD return 12.88%. Five year is only 4.86%, but the sector has been horrible for a while. Its holdings seem solid to us. We would consider it fine overall if one can live with the smaller asset base. We generally suggest the much larger (and lower fees) VEE, but it focuses on large caps and has had weaker performance of late and longer term.
