BIG’s historical performance has remained relatively stable with a slight upward trend over time, until the major spike seen in the last month, up +372% with market cap reaching $228.49M. Operating in Idaho presents a geographical advantage as it is ranked a top mining jurisdiction due to underexplored geological potential and low geopolitical risks. BIG is currently in Phase II of its exploration process focussed on confirming high silver grades outside of historic mineralization. BIG has a decent cash balance at $6.7M, especially when considering that its phase II exploration plan is fully funded. Cash also saw a major increase year-over-year. Barrick’s investment along with recent drilling results is a positive sentiment but the stock growth will still be tied to drilling success and the underlying price of silver and other minerals. Barrick now owns well more than 10%. It is a solid endorsement, but keep in mind that major companies will often buy part of juniors just to have a seat at the table on any discovery. Insiders own 11%. A price target is hard to pick here; with more success we wouldn't rule out $2 if zones can expand. But some missed holes or weaker than expected assays would bring out likely very big profit-taking sellers, after its giant gains this year.
